The 2nd “CMHK Hong Kong Hiking Festival”
Building on the success of the inaugural CMHK Hong Kong Hiking Festival, a number of hiking events were held in the past year to keep the momentum going, including “CNY WeWalk 2019”, “WeWalk Hiking and Planting Day”, “National Day Celebrations Hiking Day”, “Solar Terms Hiking Fun” campaign and “We Walk 200,000 steps towards a healthier you!” campaign.
The second CMHK Hong Kong Hiking Festival will be held in December with the theme “Safety Hiking Fun”. A volunteer medical team comprising both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine practitioners has been invited to produce the “WeWalk for Health” short video series. The short videos will feature health-related information on hiking to raise public awareness, all whilst encouraging the public to enjoy the hiking fun, to discover the characteristics of Hong Kong’s country parks, promoting this key highlight of Hong Kong to the world.
