Adhering to the belief of “We Walk for Health”, China Mobile Hong Kong and Hong Kong Hiking Association, China, will be co-organising the “WeWalk Hiking and Planting Day” (also known as the “Country Parks Hiking and Planting Day 2019” by the AFCD) for every Hong Kong citizen to participate in, and a long-term goal of promoting the health awareness of hiking, as well as deepening our appreciation and protection of the natural environment through tree planting.
We sincerely invite the people of Hong Kong to join the “We Walk Hiking and Planting Day” on 14th April together with friends and families to enjoy a day close to the nature! The “WeWalk for 10000 Steps” campaign will also be held on the day to encourage everyone in Hong Kong, wherever you are, to keep walking and stay healthy together.

Event Route: Kai Kuk Shue Ha at Luk Keng to Bride’s Pool Road (approx. 4 km, in approx. 2 hours)
Tree Planting Location: Pat Sin Leng Nature Trail (start from Bride’s Pool, walk uphill for about 2 minutes)

Transportation Arrangement: Take public transportation to the meeting place by yourself or take the organisers’ assigned bus to depart from Kowloon Tong
Public Transit: Take Bus No. 275R or Green Minibus No. 20R from Tai Po Market Station and get off at Bride’s Pool Stop
*Due to the limited tree planting space, each group of participants will have the chance to be given one tree seedling for tree planting
“WeWalk for 10000 Steps” Campaign
In addition to launching the “WeWalk Hiking and Planting Day”, the organisers have especially organised the “WeWalk for 10000 Steps” campaign to encourage all Hong Kong people to walk together anywhere in the territory to promote good health and physical fitness!
To participate in the campaign, Hong Kong citizens only need to log in to MyLink App on 14th April and use the pedometer on WeWalk Page to record their walking steps until achieving 10,000 steps.
